The programme currently delivers circa 180 lectures/seminars over the first two years, given by leading experts in their field, covering the Royal College curriculum for the membership examination (Papers A&B). These take place on all Wednesdays, bar the last, each month, interspersed with the IoPPN Journal Club and Grand Round and Psychotherapy Case Based Discussion groups.

In Year 3, if a trainee has successfully completed their membership papers (A & B) they can seek to use some of their weekly protected time to pursue academic and research interests, whilst continuing to attend their monthly clinical skills programme (last Wednesday of the month), psychotherapy supervision and clinical training for the CASC exam including mock exam practice.
